Judy Bentinck Millinery delivers goods free via standard Royal Mail services, or paid for via signed and tracked Royal Mail services for UK deliveries and alternative paid for courier services for Europe and the rest of the world.
If you are using a tracked service, you will be asking to sign on receipt of delivery. If you’re not at home when the courier delivers, they may leave your package with a neighbour or will leave you a card so you can rearrange delivery or pick up from your local collection centre.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide track and sign services to some international countries.
We aim to deliver goods within 2-5 business working days for UK deliveries, 3-6 business working days for Europe deliveries and 7-14 days for other international deliveries.
Dispatch times may vary according to availability and subject to any delays resulting from postal delays or force majeure for which we will not be responsible.
Please make sure you provide BritishWeLove with your up-to-date contact/address details in your Customer Account and/or Enquiry. Otherwise delays may occur.
The price of a product does not include shipping charges. Our shipping charges are as advised to you during the check-out process.
Unless you opt for the free service, UK tracked delivery cost is £12-15 depending on the size of the box required. All UK orders will be assigned a reference number that can be used to track your parcel via the link provided in your dispatch email.
Europe and other international delivery prices may vary on selected order, size of the parcel and country of destination. This will range from £15- £30 for European shipping and £30- £70 for rest of world shipping.
For International Delivery Destinations - please note that local charges (sales tax, customs duty) may occur, depending on your region and local customs duties. These charges are at the customers own expense.

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, BritishWeLove may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.
Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through BritishWeLove. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to return according to our Return Policy.
Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on BritishWeLove are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered BritishWeLove will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund
You may normally cancel your order (once accepted by us) for any reason during 48 hours. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or complete the Returns and Cancellation form provided by BritishWeLove. Once the order has been processed by us, you may return your order.
If you are not entirely delighted with the products that you have purchased, you have 14 days from receiving your order to notify BritishWeLove by contacting customer services at email@example.com or completing the Returns and Cancellation form provided by BritishWeLove. Once you have notified BritishWeLove, you have 14 days to return the product to us.
We cannot offer an exchange; however, we will be more than happy to offer you a refund of the purchase price including the outbound delivery but only the cost of the standard delivery option made available.
The product should be returned to us in a perfect condition - unused, unworn, unmarked, undamaged, original tags in place and in the same condition that you received it. It must be in the original packaging.
Our policy lasts 14 days from when you notify BritishWeLove. If 14 days have gone by since your notification, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund.
Please note: we are unable to accept returns on custom orders.
A refund will be issued by BritishWeLove to the original card that was used for the purchase, excluding taxes or import duties incurred.
You might consider using a trackable service or purchasing insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned order.

Sinamay and Straw hats:
These hats must not get wet as they will lose their shape. Reshaping can help if a little but they may need reblocking. Always carry an umbrella if in doubt! Please store in the hatbox away from dry heat.
Made from wool or fur felt these hats will withstand most weather but if your hat becomes too wet it may need reshaping. This can be done by hand with some tissue. Then leave to dry naturally.
Occasionally a felt hat may benefit from brushing with a soft brush to revive the fibres. Lint and surface marks can be lifted with sticky tape.
Handle gently and with care.
